That means more than feeding a chat room with content. I spend an enormous amount of time researching markets, testing ideas, building strategies and developing tools. Inside the Collective, I bring you closer to that process: what I’m studying, what I’m building, the code behind it, and the thinking that connects it all.

What is the difference between Core and Alpha?
Core is the community, research environment and access to podcast bonuses, the vault and much more. Alpha includes everything in Core, but the focus is on the ongoing research within the lab: adding Simon’s deeper intellectual property: complete Pro Strategy packages, full Algo Terminal access and source code, advanced courses and on-going development of our ‘robust by design’ process.
Can I try the Collective before committing?
Yes. Core membership begins with a three-day trial so you can explore the platform, community and Algo Vault before deciding whether to stay.
Can I cancel Core at any time?
Yes. Core is a monthly membership with no long-term lock-in. You can cancel before your next renewal. Alpha renews annually but you can still cancel anytime.
Can I upgrade from Core to Alpha later?
Yes. Core is a natural place to begin, and you can move to Alpha when you’re ready for the deeper strategy, source-code and course library.
Why is Alpha annual rather than monthly?
Alpha includes substantial intellectual property and a library designed to compound over time. Annual access supports the ongoing context, discussion and development that complete strategies require.
Are the prices shown in Australian dollars?
Yes. USD / EUR figures are indicative and will vary with exchange rates.
Do I need to be an experienced programmer or quant?
No. Members range from newer systematic traders to experienced quants. You’ll get the most from the Collective if you’re curious, willing to learn and prepared to do the work.
What is included in a Pro Strategy package?
A Pro Strategy is more than trading rules. It includes the strategy, code, supporting research, implementation context and a community environment where behaviour, limitations and portfolio fit can be discussed.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The Collective is available through the web and mobile app, so you can follow discussions, workshops and resources wherever you work.
Can I Get a Refund?
We aren’t designed for refunds, hence the 3-day free trial option so you know what you’re getting into. The Core membership is cheap enough if you want to start there. Alpha comes with instant strategy & course access.
Does membership include financial advice or guaranteed returns?
No. Algo Advantage is an education and research community. Nothing inside guarantees trading performance, and members remain responsible for their own research, decisions and risk.
